St. Catharines Drug Investigation Results in Arrests

During the month of September, 2020 detectives from the St. Catharines Street Crime Unit of the Niagara Regional Police Service have been conducting an investigation into the illegal sale of suspected Fentanyl and Crystal Methamphetamine from a St. Catharines residence.

During the course of the investigation detectives identified a man and woman as suspects.  On September 9, 2020, detectives arrested the man and woman in the area of Queenston Street and Eastchester Avenue.

Bomb Threat in Port Dalhousie Leads to an Arrest

On Monday, September 7th, 2020, at approximately 11:50pm, 1 District (St. Catharines) Uniform Officers, St. Catharines Fire and Emergency Medical Services, attended the Port Dalhousie Marina, in response to a bomb threat.

The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) received an anonymous call reporting that there was a bomb at the Port Dalhousie Marina that was expected to go off.

In an effort to bring further attention and deterrence to driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs, the Niagara Regional Police Service will be reporting the names of those people who are charged with an alleged criminal impaired driving offence in the Region.
