A two month drug investigation in St. Catharines has led to an arrest and seizure of drugs and cash.
Since January of 2020, the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS), 1 District – St. Catharines Street Crime Unit, have been investigating the sales of fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine.

Since February 2020, Niagara Regional Police have received reports of more than 20 residential break and enters in the area near Central Avenue between Bertie Street and Gilmore Road in the Town of Fort Erie. The break and enters have occurred during daytime and nighttime hours.
Residents and business owners in the area are asked to routinely check any surveillance footage that they may have and report any suspicious activity to police.

On March 17, 2020, Detectives from the 5 District - Fort Erie Detective Office of the Niagara Regional Police Service began an investigation into a male illegally possessing a prohibited firearm in the Town of Fort Erie.
As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was obtained for a residence in the area of Ridge Road and Highland Avenue. During the search, police located and seized a sawed-off shotgun and ammunition.

At approximately 11:38pm on Thursday March 19, 2020 2 District (Niagara Falls) uniform officers were called to the area of Drummond Rd and Dunn St in the City of Niagara Falls following the report of a collision.
Investigation has revealed that a 52 year old male was driving an e-bike when he lost control and was thrown from the bike before being struck by a southbound vehicle. The driver of the vehicle did not stop and left the scene.
