Multiple Commercial Break and Enters Solved

On November 27, 2019 the Niagara Regional Police began an investigation into several commercial break and enters that occurred in the City of Niagara Falls.  Police executed multiple search warrants and located property stolen from the break and enters.   Estimated valued of stolen property recovered was approximately $30,000. On November 29, 2019 at 5:30am Niagara Regional Police Service patrol officers responded to a break and enter at the Fonthill Legion on Highway 20 in the Town of Pelham.   The Legion building was entered by an unknown number of suspects and the ATM located inside was targeted. At approximately 10:00pm on Wednesday November 27, 2019 1 District (St. Catharines) uniform officers responded to the report of a robbery that had just occurred at the Canadian Tire Gas Station located at 459 Welland Avenue in the City of St. Catharines.

On Sunday November 24, 2019 at approximately 6:55pm, 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) uniform officers responded to an address in the Manley Cr and Keefer Rd area of the City of Thorold following the report of the death of an adult male.

Investigation has revealed that the male had been deceased inside the residence for a prolonged period of time.

In an effort to bring further attention and deterrence to driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs, the Niagara Regional Police Service will be reporting the names of those people who are charged with an alleged criminal impaired driving offence in the Region.
