Additional charges have been laid against three individuals involved in this investigation.
28 year old Derek Horth of the City of Niagara Falls is facing the following alleged charges:
- Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Firearm CC Sec. 91(1)
- Possession Restricted Firearm Knowingly Not Holding a Licence CC Sec. 92(1)
- Careless Storage of Firearm CC Sec. 86(1)
- Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition CC Sec. 95(1)

Since the Fall of 2019, members of the Niagara Regional Police Services, Morality Unit and Guns, Gangs and Grow Unit have been conducting a drug trafficking investigation in the City of Niagara Falls. In January of 2020, 5 District (Fort Erie) detectives commenced an investigation into the trafficking of illicit drugs in the Town of Fort Erie.
On March 6, 2020 detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Forsythe St and Waterloo St.
Two males and a female were arrested in the residence and the search resulted in the seizure of approximately $3000 worth of drugs including crystal meth, oxycodone, and psilocybin.
