Officers Looking To Identify Suspects In Relation To Welland Break & Enter

On September 9th, 2020 at 12:22am members of the 3 District (Welland) Uniform Patrol responded to a brake and enter at Jean Vanier High School, located at 620 River Road in the city of Welland.

Investigation revealed a 10 foot aluminum brake valued at $4000.00 dollars was stolen from the outdoor technological education area.  The aluminum break is described as silver with red handles.

In response to complaints of vehicles being operated within the community causing excessive noise, the Niagara Regional Police Service have stepped up enforcement of motor vehicles with defects or that have been modified to become louder.

Officers have noticed an increased number of vehicles that have removed their mufflers or replaced their original muffler(s) with aftermarket parts designed to increase the noise of the exhaust to unacceptable levels.

On September 21, 2020, at approximately 2:00am, 2 District (Niagara Falls) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service responded to a variety store on Lundy's Lane just east of Dorchester Road in Niagara Falls for a serious assault.
